Welcome to Incendia Felis!
This is where Incendia Felis comes in. Incendia Felis is a Warrior Cats inspired game that includes six unique types of wild cats, who are relative to their Clan build and territory.
Take a look at our banner. From left to right, the cats showcased here are each of the builds that will be included in-game, as well as many different models of predator and prey alike. Ranging from left to right, SwiftClan, RavenClan, FrozenClan, TideClan, SageClan, and PineClan are found in the banner. Click the titles below to expand them and read details.
---
Incendia Felis will have six feline groups (or Glories/Destructions as we call them). All ranging from different body builds and different Clan territories, i.e., a mountain range, plains, and so on. More information on each individual Clan will be available in their respective boards.
---
There will be one large landlocked region dedicated to Incendia Felis. It will be broken down into smaller maps to reduce lag, but will geographically be seamless. The region is broken down into two "rings," the inner ring being the center of the region. The inner ring will be completely player controlled. The outer ring will be dedicated wholly to the six set hybrid groups the game has. There are six main biomes, one for each group, which blends them closer to the center of the region.
---
Everyone will enter the game unaffiliated with any entities or groups no matter age (unless they are kits). You will spawn in whatever territory you chose after the characetr creation. It will be relatively close to the center of the inner ring at one of a few points. If you enter as a kit, you will spawn next to your mother's side or in the nursery when you first enter the game, if so chosen.
---
In the beginning of Incendia Felis, you will be in a field surrounded by trees, and will run through a tutorial for the game, that will lead you through character creation and the controls. Once the tutorial ends, you will be faced with six different landscapes and you will be able to select one of those to start. If you are a kit, once you choose where to start, a list of queens accepting kits in that biome will pull up and they will have the ability to select one or be a rouge kit(have no mother).
---
Each hybrid type has its own specific fighting style and advantages. They have basic barbaric attacks, but details about each would be either reliance on claws, teeth, or another element like size and movements to advance the attack.
---
When your cat hunts, you need to press Left Control (CTRL) to crouch. You click on the prey you find to select it, then creep towards it. Be sure not to step on any loose twigs and such! Once you're close enough with the prey selected, you press the space bar to jump and your cat will aim for the prey and pounce on it. The percentage of how successful your character will be in the hunt depends on how high their skill level for hunting is.
---
If a character is mates with another character, they can click on their mate and a button titled "Mate" will appear along with some other information. It will then send a request to mate with the character's significant other and if they accept, seemingly nothing will happen. After 24 hours the queen will appear pregnant.
DISCLAIMER:
It should be noted that hybrids cannot interbreed, as they are technically separate species and originate from humans cross breeding species of feline with the added bonus of DNA altering to make it succeed. By culture, all hybrids see interspecies romances as dark and as wrong as having kits with a sibling or parents. By genetics, offspring would not live and the queen would probably die since there is no assistance of DNA alteration. Another note is that their culture does not have a LGBTA community because they never saw reason to isolate those individuals from themselves, though to obtain a kit a male and female must be selected for the genetic reasons.(In other words, all sexualities are welcome and accepted by them, but only male and female breeding will produce offspring)
---
The amount of living characters that you may have is six. The amount of deceased characters you may have is three. If one of your living characters die and you already have three deceased characters, it will ask you to delete one of them, an inactive or unused one. You can also delete your deceased characters if you don't want them anymore, it doesn't need to request that you do.

Avians: Light Blue
Rodents: Light Brown
Amphibians and Reptiles: Light Green
Predator: Maroon
Your Clan: Dark Green
Enemy Clan: Bright Red
The scent trails of Incendia Felis will be much like WolfQuest in the sense of the color of the scent trail becoming bolder as they become fresher, and becoming fainter as they become staler, until they vanish completely.
---
The birthing sequence will be very simple and will not be too detailed. When a kitten is born, it will appear curled up near to the mother's stomach. The first two in-game days while the kit's eyes and ears are sealed, the kit will be a NPC. At the end of the second in-game day, the ability for kits to become players will open until the end of the third day. If any kits were not selected, they will die.
---
This game will have blood in the sense of cats getting cuts and scrapes from various things, but it will probably only go that far. Some details are too grotesque to include in this game.
---
The in-game system will work like this: One in-game day is four hours long. Two hours of day time, then it will transition to two hours of night time. Eight real-life days will equal to one in-game month.
---
There will be various markings, from realistic cat markings to some semi realistic ones. Exotic cat markings, though 'watered down' will also be available depending on what hybrid you select. Many things will be scalable on your character model, so you can make the cat look like a certain breed with their respective markings. Those sliders are limited or expanded however depending on what hybrid you chose, as each hybrid has a different set of features that will vary specific to their species.
---
Every day, prey will spawn in their respective areas. Here is a small chart for it:
Squirrels = Spawn in treetops
Mice = Spawn in tree stumps, long grass, heavy bushes or brambles
Snakes = Spawn in long grass, in between close-together rocks
Foxes = Spawn in small caves, fox dens
Badgers = Spawn in small caves, badger dens
Dogs = Spawn in small caves

Birth The hybrids of Incendia Felis are the result of scientific tampering with genetics done by humans. Cross breeds of domestic and wild felines crafted and perfected by humans by means of DNA alteration. Their intention was for the cats to remain exotic and powerful while remaining playful and obedient like a domesticated cat. The humans thought it worked, because the cats exhibited a high amount of intelligence from the start. The humans had created the cats with borderline sentience, although it was dismissed. As a manner of research, a number of the newly created cats were released into a large nature reserve (one that was walled off by the humans over populous cities and settlements. A 20 foot high stone wall was created to separate them). This was done to increase the population, test the genetic durability of the articificial genes, and test the capabilities of the cats before allowing them into the homes of humans.
Adaptation After about two generations of expansion, the intelligence of the hybrids reached that of primitive sentience. They began forming a simple language and building a community. By the fifth generation, the scientific study was deemed successful. The hybrids began to be trapped, tagged, and shipped out by scientists, but they did not agree. The now sentient community formed coordinated attacks to drive the troublesome humans from the reserve. The scientists declared the area as a hazardous zone and restricted it after a number of deaths. The reserve was left to the cats and other enclosed creatures. The project was deemed a failure and it set back the humans' scientific advancements significantly. The cats within the reserve only advanced further because they were pushed after being forced to outsmart a much smarter species(the humans) and threatened with what they saw as dying out.
Peace By the 10th generation, the cats were advanced enough to form a culture, individuality, as well as a simple government. They had formed permanent settlements and created primitive shelters for themselves. They had a ragged set up of trade and language, as well as a religion based off of night and day. At this time, the nature reserves' feline inhabitants were united as one group, one large nation working together to survive and shape their world. It was a happier time, as they had not yet reached a level of intelligence that would lead to more complex problems than fighting over "who saw that fish first" or something of the like.
War At generation 15, the humans had deduced they would return, tearing down segments of wall and invading. They sought to deforest the reserve to save their race from the threat of overpopulation, which was becoming deadly. They had taken all the space they could. The new race was, by this time, stable and smart enough to really put up an offense against this invasion, shocking the humans when this race of cats was smart enough to oppose them in an organized and planned manner, especially with both language and culture apparent. The humans took interest in them, targeting specific hybrids first for capture and study missions. This awoke a serious flaw to the felines' culture. They were each a different species with different specialties that they had perfected and evolved to be co-dependant on the other. From a sudden attack on only specific hybrids by the humans, their world slowly started to fall apart. They felt a loss of weakness and a lost cause formed by the decline of one hybrid vs another, more prominent species. The humans suffered from internal war, and had to ignore the cats. They left once more. The nation of felines felt the aftermath and took it hard. The hybrids started to separate rather than being loyal to everyone. They became loyal to only their species. War ensued when the culture was not accepting of hybrids that held roles which were not in line of what was expected of their species, combined with the new division they held. The cats snapped under the pressure. Six nations, one for each hybrid, formed and claimed the biome which suited them best as their new territory.
Fragments Generation 20. The six nations struggled, fighting their codependent evolution was not easy. The gaps left in each hybrids' skill format hurt them severely because they lived isolated from one another. Individuals within began questioning why they lived like this, having intelligence-wise advanced as expected of the evolutionary pace already set. internal conflict arose. Cats began wondering why they could not work with other hybrids, and they eventually abandoned loyalty to the nations they were born into. Throughout the nature reserve, the race suffered. Small scale struggles and war plagued them. Their culture was uprooted as the 20th generation tried to undo the damage caused by generation 15 and failing to unite while doing so. The inner ring developed, the outer ring was left to the Glories and Destructions. All that was left of the nations, which were previously the sections of the nations dedicated to 'military' functionality, was dwindling. They took the task of protecting the reserve from intruders who dared pass the walls. The Clans only held due to their 'military' loyalty to the nations which was unphased by 'civilian' lifestyle.
Present The game takes place in generation 30. The intelligence of the cats by now is up to par with humans in the 1920's. Since they retained a feral lifestyle that wasn't made simple by any technology, the cats have evolved rather quickly. The clans still stand in the outer ring, a band of territory supremely controlled by the clans, though their reasons for existing have digressed from nation loyalty to the place simply being their home, their way of life being their culture. The Clans protect the reserve only on the principle of defending territory, and knowledge of the inner ring is rare. They are essentially cut off from the outer ring. The inner ring, however, has had a dandy old time turning into a free for all where anyone and everyone can exist with a lifestyle of their choice. What happens in the inner ring is entirely up to the players, the law, if any, the type of crimes committed, if any, the types of groups, and who is powerful or not in the community. It is all controlled by the actions of players. Good luck.
End At the end of the game, at whatever point in the far future that the game is taken offline, the end of the lore will be what the players accomplish. It is entirely in the power of the players to shape the future: to be once more a united nation, just the 6 nations, or any number of nations, or no nations at all. Is there war? Is there peace? It is all in the hands of you, the players, to decide this. The end.
